Arrive to Chennai by Flight.
Check in to Hotel.
Visit Marina beach, Fort Saint-George,
Kapaleshwarar Temple, St.Thomas Cathedral
and Spencer plaza shopping mall.

Day 2 |
After breakfast, check out the Hotel.
Drive to Mamallapuram, the ancient port of
Pallava and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site (60 kms 1 hr).
Visit Seashore Temples, Arjuna Penance and other sculptures of Mamallapuram.
Overnight stay in Mamallapuram.

Day 3 |
Early morning drive to Pondicherry, the old French Colony (100 kms 2 hrs).
Visit Sri Arabindo Ashram and Manakula Vinayakar Temple which is dedicated to lord Ganesh.
After lunch, visit the international township of Auroville. Evening have a walk along the
promenade of Pondicherry Beach.
Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 4 |
Early morning drive to Chidambaram (75 kms 1 ½ hrs).
En-route visit Swamimalai and Gangaikondacholapuram.After lunch, drive to
Tanjore which is the ancient capital of the Cholas.
Visit Temple of Brahadeeswarar, Saraswathi Mahal Palace which today houses a Library.

Day 5 |
After breakfast, drive to Trichy, the ancient fortress
of Chola period. The town developed with the
arrival of the Nayaks (65 kms 1 hr).
En-route visit Srirangam which is the major hindu pilgrimage center.
Visit Fort Temple which is comprises of 2 temples of 7th century and dedicated to Lord Ganesh and Lord Shiva.
Overnight stay in Trichy.

Day 6 |
Depart to Chettinad, the ancient city of the rich Chettiyars (100 kms 2 hrs).
Visit Chettinad Houses, extensive antique shops, weekly shandy [village market]; also have a visit to Craftsmen working with wood and metal,
silversmiths and goldsmiths.

Day 7 |
Depart to Madurai, ancient capital of the Pandiyas
(120 kms 2 hrs).
Visit the ancient city of Madurai, some 2500 years
old is laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the centre.

Day 8 |
After breakfast, visit Thirumalainayakar Mahal, The Great Tank and Gandhi Museum.

Day 9 |
Breakfast at hotel.
Depart to Periyar/Thekkady (150 kms 3 hrs), the home to an amazing richness of wildlife, and is considered one of the finest in the country
for observing and photographing animal life,
especially the wild Asiatic elephant.

Day 10 |
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Kumarakom
(170 kms 3 ½ hrs).
After lunch at the hotel, have a nature walk along the Paddy field, coconut groves & bird watching in Kumarakom bird sanctuary.
By the end of the day, enjoy the boat ride and Ayurvedic Massages.

Drive to Alleppey (40 kms 45 mins).
Embark the house boat at Alleppey and cruise through the backwaters. It will be a real experience of kerala.

After lunch, check out of House Boat. Depart to Cochin (60 kms 1 hr).
Visit Fort Cochin, Chinese fish net, Mattancherry Palace which is also known as Dutch Palace. Evening enjoy watching
Kathakali dance and demonstration.

Breakfast at hotel.Half a day city tour.
Drive to Cochin Airport to board flight to Bangalore.
